About me

I am a registered Counselling Psychologist with the HPCSA. I completed my Master’s degree at the North West University where I was trained in integrative methods, allowing me to tailor make my approach to suit the unique needs of each individual. I have a special interest in the CBT approach, specifically Schema Therapy. Member of CBTASA (CBT and Schema Therapy). I have completed accredited training in Schema Therapy endorsed by the International Society for Schema Therapy (ISST), International training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and  Reprocessing) Therapy and  BWRT level 1 trained.

I completed my internship at the South African Military Health Services where I not only gained invaluable experience in a variety of mental health challenges, but also in providing therapy to clients of all age groups and diverse backgrounds.

I am living my passion and lucky to be doing the work that I love every day. I believe in treating clients with utmost respect and compassion and providing a non-judgmental space for them to explore their personal challenges.

I am committed to empowering clients to be the best versions of themselves and implementing evidence-based interventions to achieve these goals. Furthermore, my experience in various psychometric assessments assists in understanding clients and enhances their mental health functioning timeously.

I have a passion for working with children and adolescents as I believe their optimum mental health provides the foundation for them to reach their full potential as adults.
